Sweeps are designed for the #9 shank assembly and can fit to any shank with 22mm 1/2" holes. Sweeps increase the shanks effect on the ground, widening the volume of lifted soil.
They are supplied with hardware and are hardfaced for additional durability in a range of soils. Sweeps impact recoil action and add approximately 10-15hp to the drawbar requirement of each shank.
Not all ploughs can be fitted with sweeps on their front row. Check shank recoil, clearance to frame and clearance to any trailing equipment before purchase.
